We build websites for those who need them
The do_action hackathon is the WordPress community’s way of giving back where it makes the biggest difference. We get together for one day, form teams and build websites for non-profit organizations in Galicia. From scratch, in a matter of hours.
This isn’t an exercise or a simulation. It’s real: the result is the website that organization will use from that day on.
People with very different skills take part (development, design, content management, communication) because building a website takes more than one skill. If you have any of them, there’s a place for you on the team.
do_action is free and separate from the WordCamp ticket. You can take part without attending the conference.
